iOS VS Android – Which Is Better?
With both these operating systems ruling over the modern technical era, it is very difficult to conclude which one is better, iOS or Android. It is certainly a personal preference of users, but still to get more comprehensive on the debate, it is better to compare the facilities provided by these operating systems. However, the facilities provided by Apple and Google will vary in their own criteria. Apple applications definitely signify a very innovative turning point in the world of technology, but Google has mastered the fact with equal excellence.
With the introduction of these two operating systems, a revolutionary change has taken place in the world of technology. With over billions of users worldwide, almost equal number of tech-savvy users are using both Apple’s OS and Android nowadays. However, it will be wrong to judge the performance of both the operating systems in terms of outlook because more surprises are there inside.
Offerings and Consecutive Positions of iOS and Android
Every iPhone lover, who craves for a new introductory offer in the series, must be keeping a watch on promotional tactics of this tech-giant. Of course, it can be said that this tech-giant invented something that users had been waiting for long time. The latest operating system is something innovative, which was probably imaginary before its outcast. Apple Inc. is the king of applications, as it regularly brings new apps, which tech-lovers simply love. The functions, the speed and design of iPhone are overwhelming and coin appreciation from all the admirers of technology. However, in addition to all these aspects, there remains a competitor- Google, which comes with equally advanced applications that equally awestruck the users.
Reports count that Apple makes more profit than Google; but the number of Android users is much more than Apple, with a rise of over a million quantities per day, according to average estimation. However, still Apple Inc. is no less proficient than its contender Google Inc.
The reason that users prefer the applications of Google to that of the Apple is probably because their apps are paid, whereas that of its competitor are free (most of them). It is also to be noted that users who possess both iPhone and a Android-Smartphone uses the latter more. Still when it comes to apps, they reveal their iPhone. This is probably because of the difference in quality of applications offered by these two giants in the world of technology. It seems that though Google made its applications free, users are more inclined towards quality in this context rather than quantity. However, obviously, Android apps are not useless, as they serve every essential purpose and are extremely user-friendly, but Apple seems to focus more on uniqueness.
Competition Levels Between the Two
Competition between iOS and Android is indirect, but not so between their manufacturers. You can observe that the two are trying to grab and create a space to take over each other. When Apple reigned in smartphone technology, Google offered a stiff competition with its invention of Android. When Google reigned as a search engine, Apple is set to offer a tough competition with its invention of Siri, which is said to emerge as a swift location locator, with several features of Google’s map, but more precise and to-the-point. It is known to almost every tech enthusiast that Apple Inc. had filed a case against the widest Android-model manufacturer Samsung for using their technology and designs in manufacturing Android models.
However, users are only to consider their personal preference of usages of both and one that abides by his/her specific requirements.
